Morning, I hope all is well. All good here - I went out in the week to put up small posters in the area for the all exciting Mr Vintage Fayre this coming Sunday at The Mildmay Club. Only when I'd finished posting them all up everywhere that I realised I'd left the address off all the posters. See you there this Sunday then!
Thanks to all the people who emailed about the wrong Norfolk village last week (from the hippie commune film), but you have all been trumped by the fact that a member of said commune - one of the children - actually sent me an email. He sent me a link to this obit, and talked about his fondness for the artist Susan Coatman whose sculptures remained "mouldering" in the gardens many years after she'd left.
However that email was then trumped by a serendipitous and totally unexpected meeting on Tuesday evening with none other than Brian Eno, a mere two hours after I'd picked up some newly discovered master tapes that he has a bizarre connection with. More news of all that madness in due course.
There is digital Elizabeth Parker now avialable, along with a weird Roger Webb digital single thing about Space Invaders that no one really knows anything about. All here.
Great news, the Basil Kirchin documentary will be on Vimeo as of September 30th. Have a look here.
I'm now off. Got some errands to run and must not enter any record shops on the way. Must not enter any record shops on the way.
Thanks for listening as always
Jonny
