Morning, I hope all is well. All groovy here.
The only silly thing that happened this week was during some maths homework. The younger teen got a bit stressed and started flapping around a bit (about algebraic ways of working out triangle areas). A flap too far resulted in a berry smoothie flying from the table and covering the dog. The dog actually enjoyed it and spent the next hour or so wallowing in the pinky sludge and has cunningly avoided being washed since then. He now smells like a rotten yoghurt.
Also this week I had a slightly odd issue with some new sweatshirts I've had made. They arrived at the warehouse. All good. They looked great - all good. However when we got them out to count and store them Luke (who runs the warehouse with razor sharp skills) noticed that they all looked a bit wrong. I got the tape measure out and he was right. The smalls are bigger than the mediums, the large are bigger than the XXLs, the XLs are bigger than the XXXLs. So we are now in a small argument with the supplier about "tolerances". Read into that what you wish.
As a film today I recommend the Basil Kirchin Mind On The Run documentary which can be streamed here.
And I just read about the chewing gum artist man. Very charming.
I'm now off to Spitz Record Fayre. To give away flyers for THE GROOVY FAYRE - October 28th!!! Two halls of records and posters and tees and stuff, plus snooker and quiz and dancing and that. And all free! Unless you come before 10am and you have to pay a bit.
Thanks for listening as always.
