Morning, I hope all is well. All good here. Little to report, apart from the fact we are trying to get the big teen (now 17) some part time work. Trouble is he reckons the only time he can spare (rest of his time being taken up by i) college ii) PS4 ii) doing f*ck all) is Saturday morning between 10am and about 1pm. So not a lot of options out there to be honest.

One other thing - the little rubber belt on my Thorens (TD124) keeps popping off everytime I play a record, which is ever so slightly annoying. If anyone knows where a proper belt can be found please let me know.

This email is coming at you slightly earlier than normal (by about 5 mins) as I am heading off for a weekend trip with Mrs Trunk. I have no idea where we are actually going as I did not organise the trip, but I have various things packed including extra pants and intriguing knitwear. I shall report back. Hopefully we are going to this campsite

In other news the faulty sweatshirts that were all larger than they were supposed to be have been returned to the small factory. There will be more news when the new fresh normal sized ones come back.

Here is a groovy film all about Dave Grusin, one of my fave composer / arrangers (The Graduate, Three Days Of The Condor, Sergio Mendes etc). This was sent to me last week by Ed from Blaxploitation.com but I've only just got around to looking at it. It's GREAT.

Dont forget, only a couple of weeks until The Groovy Fayre (October 28th, Mildmay Club) - 2 halls of people selling record, books, posters, vintage tees, all sorts - plus 2 bars, snooker, a big music quiz, DJs and more. Worth noting that lots of people selling are not your usual dealers, we have many people coming selling their own stuff. Free entry from 10am, early bird entry before that is a whopping £5. All very exciting. Plus I have the new limited Trunk LP available on the day.

I'm now off to I have no idea where.

Thanks for listening as always.

Jonny
