Morning, I hope all is well. All good here. Thanks to everyone who suggested numerous fine places (and not so fine) to buy a new belt for my Thorens deck. I ordered one Friday but it has not arrived yet, so I am unable to report on the new performance. Well excited though.

I was also very excited about my weekend away with Mrs Trunk last Friday and it turned out that we were going to France for two days, until we got to the airport to find our flight had been cancelled due to a Monsieur Grumpy at Le Air Traffic Control. We ended up having a lovely day going to London galleries instead.

In other news my very good friends Martin Green and NJ Stevenson are putting on a exhibition of groovy 80s clubwear next year. They have asked me to ask this very helpful and engaged mailing list of fun interesting folk if anyone has any of the following which would help enormously: clothes and accessories by Rachel Auburn, Leigh Bowery, Mark and Syrie, Bazooka, John Crancher, Stephen Linard, Christopher Nemeth, Judy Blame, Dean Bright and any other progressive British designers of that period. If you or you know of anything of anyone who might help with this quest please get in touch. They have already got clothing but would love to see or hear about more.

In fact I was at Mark Moore's lock up (actually more of a shipping container that hadn't been touched for over a decade) a few weeks ago and we found some of his bonkers 80s club wear, including some amazing John Crancher jackets and that big polka dot thing he wears on that famous LP cover. Very worthy of being exhibited for sure.

Don't forget, The Groovy Fayre is next Saturday. Both halls are booked out with dealers, labels and super fun people selling tons of great stuff - records, books vintage tees, psychedelic posters, pop Xmas decorations and more - it's free to get in from 10am (early bird entry from 9am £5). All at the Mildmay Club N16. Music quiz and DJs after the records - untill 1am. See you there  - I will have the new limited Trunk LP - Wonders Of The Underwater World for sale on the stage from 10am.

This week I have been working with Ron Geezin a bit on another new old LP. Here is a great BBC thing with him in it, plus Bob Godfrey and Bruce Lacey. IT'S REALLY GREAT!!!

I'm now off to Spitalfields Record Fayre. Who knows what magic awaits me this time. The highlight two weeks ago was the fact that the broken urinal in the loos was back working.

Thanks for listening as always

Oh and one last thing - my chums in Kent are putting on a Wicker Man film / pizza and wine / vinyard thing. Details here. I can't go as I am running the Groovy Fayre. But looks like spooky fun.
