Morning, I hope all is well. All pretty groovy here. The small hound had a hair cut yesterday and he now he looks like an otter. Also, Teen One has just one day left of school. And then it's over. AIl I can say is that went fast. And now his education will really begin. I'll be teaching him how to use the hoover next week.
Thanks for the messages of goodwill last week as I stood to get on the committee of the legend that is The Mildmay Club. There was an excellent voting turnout and thanks to an excess of affordable beer I am now a committee member and actually went to my first meeting on Monday. It was both trad and modern all at the same time, just like The Mildmay Club. I shall mention interesting happenings here as and when.
Yesterday Ron Geesin's Basic Maths got "reissue of the week" at Norman's Records. I daren't tell them it's not technically a reissue as its never been issued before. "An incredible, illuminating unearhing from the Trunk label". Hell yeah.
Thanks to my old chum Martin Green, today we have a real treat, a day trip to Margate broadcast as part of the legendary Man Alive strand back in 1974. My kinda TV.
I am now off to get really wet with some really great women and then change into my best frock for Spitalifields record fayre.
Thanks for listening as always
Jonny (member of the committee)
