Morning, I hope all is well. All good here. Thanks to the cold snap this week my morning swimming has been pretty hardcore, down to 7° which means once I get out of the water at about 9:30am I don't get my feet back again until about midday. Pretty thrilling though.
In other news, Storm Bert is heading towards the UK. This is also the name of Teen One, so I'm expecting the storm to arrive late, will bring some unwanted wind and will leave a big mess behind.
This week I have been putting together the Trunk Xmas mix and also ordering in various super things for the great Trunk Festive Shop 2024. I'm about half way there I think. More new about it all next week I reckon / hope.
I also have news of another Trunk Listening Room session. This next one is the evening of 5th December (two sessions, one at 7pm and then another at 8:30pm) and I'll be playing fabulous electronic library music that I have collected over the last 30 or so years. This is a unique chance to hear some of the rarest, most interesting and truly bizarre electronic library recordings ever made. From 78rpm Cybermen cues to Jean Michel Jarre's first foray into electronic music - and many plugged-in points in between. It will all sound superb in the valve driven Listening Room. Book tickets here.
The following video which features a naughty parrot who has clearly bitten through a small charging cable is most amusing. I have watched it at least ten times. I have no idea what is being said here, but I reckon I can guess some of it.
I'm now off. I normally say what I'm doing now but it's so VERY dull I'm not sure I can be bothered.
Thanks for listening
Jonny
