Morning, I hope all is well. All finally back to normal here. But quite a funny trip this week to get back to where I was before...

So no outgoing emails since early January. The only way of communicating with the internet service providers (who I believe are responsible for this fail) is via "tickets", static emails on their platform. So it's very slow. This week, after two weeks of tickets, no emails and no action, they realise that the problem is not going away so ask me to download a teamviewer app so they can jump onto my laptop remotely and work out the problem. I start this process and the app I download will not open as my operating system is out of date. So I update my operating system - which takes two and a half hours by which time everyone has gone home. The next day we get on it fast, they finally look about on my laptop and realise the problem is their end. 

Then, all of a sudden, my laptop start misbehaving (conspiracy theories start) and the screen fllckers for a few minutes, and then turns into a Paul Smith beachtowel. 

Instead of throwing it all the wall I go and walk the dog. Then I take the Mac to the local Apple geek squad who say it's a screen issue.  

Two days later I get the fixed Mac back, I get more tickets asking me to "unlock my domain" and change the "nameservers". This takes me an hour to work out. When I finally do, my emails come back. I then go to bed. 

In other news I can now catch up on two weeks of unanswered emails.

I'm now off to see what I haven't missed in the last two weeks.
