Morning, I hope all is well. All fine here, but it's a hard week what with i) Valentine's Day (which is RIGHT NOW) and ii) my lovely wife's birthday in less than 48 hours...
So it's like a double whammy for me, the loving husband. I can normally make it through. Yesterday I bought a fine artisan quiche for the women I love who really loves a quiche, followed up by an extravagant bath oil that actually looked like a cheap smoothy when I took it out of the box - apparently because the brand has made sure the bottle and lid are 100% recyclable. I shall report back on the results next week. If I'm still alive.
Here is the classic 50p Valentine Trunk page if you are stuck for music for the next day or so. There is some whining and dining going on this end tonight.
This next thing came up a lot during the week - as you know I don't really go political on this mailout but the ongoing government v creative industries v AI thing has got me thinking. A great speech in the House Of Lords about the Data Use And Access Bill by Baroness Kidron; an amazing woman and a true force of nature at work here. Worth hearing if you are in the creative industries...currently clocking 140 views which is nuts really considering what it's all about.
I'm now off to swim in the cold which will help my first hangover of the year. Oh, and my wife has just handed me a box of peanut butter chocolate hearts, which will ensure the weight I lost in January will pile back on by Sunday.
Thanks for listening as always
