Morning, I hope all is well. All fine here although we do have Teen 2 with a bad cough. And a dog with a tooth out. 

If that wasn't terrible enough (yes, I know it's not terrible) I got news this week that the Jonny Trunk and Wisbey's Guiness World Record of having the shortest piece of rubbish music ever to make the top 30 was erased / captured / wiped out by none other that Jack Black and some crafty ditty from the new and critically panned Minecraft movie. My inbox, WhatsApp, text messages and Instagram were full of people offering me condolences at this truly terrible news. I have not gone and seen the Jack Black film or heard the music and I am not going to make any effort to do so. But I'm not suprised it's popular as it's about chicken and eveyone loves chicken.

Thanks to everyone who came to the Listening Room this week to hear something slightly classier - French film music. A great night out / in. More next month - 28th May, vocal harmony records. Wow. 

In other news we are currently trying to fix the Trunk Shop as last week people were buying groovy hats that coudn't be bought. More news of that party next week.

Talking of parties, I just went and collected a fine old PA system for the Mildmay Club, to go with the fine one we already have there. So now there are two fine PA systems across the two halls. I drove to North Wales yesterday to collect it. A 500 mile round trip and my right accelerator leg is certainly paying for it today.

I'm now off to swim with the ducks, and to forget about chicken.
