Morning, I hope all is well. All groovy here. Before you get all excitied about more Magpie logo tees, I shall stop you. The reason I have "Magpie" as today's subect is because the house has been terrorised this week by a magpie...

We got home Sunday afternoon, the magpie was in Teen One's bedroom. It had come in via Teen Two's bedroom, had a few poos in there, eaten some bedside peanuts, then hopped down to my office for another crap, on my desk. Then hopped into the next bedroom to start pecking away at anything shiny which included various tech things. We opened the window and it flew away.

The next day I was on the loo, got up and saw the very same magpie watching me from the bathroom window ledge. And then he started chirping at me. Well it was more of an odd squarky machine gun noise. Next day he was trying to get through the back door into the kitchen. I have no idea what we have done to warrant such attention. The house is certainly not full of shiny things. It was a little bit freaky, like the beginning of The Birds

In other news the Mr Vintage Fayre was amazing with over 1100 visitors in 6 hours. A lovely day out for all.

Don't forget, The 5th Annual Groovy Fayre is on 8th November at The Mildmay. All day and all night. Let me know if you want a stall or even half a stall. It's a really fun day and evening with a music quiz and dancing after the dealers have packed up.

In the meantime here is a film the BBC released yesterday with Andy Mackay playing synths on Pebble Mill at One.

I'm now off to make a 2 minute film about a record, then it's off swimming in the water that is starting to get colder, and then a ponder as to whether I go to the record fair or not today. I might just hang out with the magpie instead.

Thanks for listening

Jonny
