Morning, I hope all is well. All fine here but three of us have a cold, the same one that everyone we know has. It's like a cold but a bit more annoying.
In other news Teen one who does not have the cold has just left for Leeds, in a lemur onesie.
Not much to report but as heavily hinted at in the subject line, here are some up and coming Trunk events:
i) The Groovy Fayre. November 8th, at The Mildmay Club. From 9am to midnight. Great people selling records and books and stuff (including Lawrence, Heavenly, Clay Pipe, Mrs Bojingles, Perfect Lives etc) and topping all that, people selling their very own record collections, like me! Plus there's a quiz from about 7pm and dancing with superstar DJs until midnight. Free entry after 10am. Yes free from 10am. Wow.
ii) Jonny Trunk Morricone special at The Listening Room - 18th November. Tickets available from next week...
iii) Jonny Trunk Christmas record special at The Listening Room - 16th December. Tickets available from next week...
In the meatime here is a fine, short and odd doc about lighthouse keepers at The Bishop's Rock Lighthouse. A dying, possibly already dead breed. Some bonkers daring footage. Lots of waves, lots of rope. Marks and Spencer's brown pyjamas. Quite weird. Worth watching just to see the actual light being lit.
I'm now off to film another 2 minutes thing about a record I own. Two minutes later I'll be selecting my outfit for tonight's Sound Gallery anniversary chat thing!
Thanks for listening
Jonny
