Morning, I hope all is well.  All groovy here. I spend several hours yesterday trying to factory reset an old Mac computer. It just refused to go to "recovery mode". In the end I found a video that helped me get it done in 3 minutes by writing some code in "terminal mode". So it only took 4 hours and 3 minutes.

Before we move on there is news. This email is coming from a slightly different address. This is because many of the weekly Trunk emails were not getting to lots of people on the list because of various tech issues I do not understand, like email blockers with three letters in their name (SPFs???), that sort of thing. And if I wrote something like "bottom" or "Scunthorpe" they also got stopped. So now the weekly email will come from this address which apparently understand these SPFs. Hopefully all the people who have emailed me asking where their emails have gone, should now get them.

But please note: if you want to email me back directly, make sure you use jonny@trunkrecords.com

Anyway, onto the biggish little news. The all new Trunk 7" is now here. It's brilliantly unusual and quite unique. It took me years to track down the artist, a certain Mr Schneider. He used to sing classic songs (you know, jazz standards, the Great American Songbook etc) and used ancient and important technology (like a Baldwyn Synth) to record it. His version of "Green Tambourine" is like no other. It's so brilliantly peculiar I can't really describe it. And I really do mean that. Which is why I have put it on a single. It will only be pressed once. There are less than 500. It can be bought here. No digital. Soz. The back of the sleeve with A picture of Gary is below.

Here is a film I watched this week about Adam Bobrow. Well it's not actually about him, he's just a wicked table tennis player, so it's sort of post all the Marty Supreme larks. And he has loads of weird spin moves including one called "The Snake". Fascinating.

I'm now off to not go to the Spitalfields Records Market because it's not on and thanks to all the people who emailed me last week telling me it wasn't on last week too.

Thanks for listening as always

Jonny
