Morning, I hope all is well. All good here. Teen one is just heading out to film a hip hip-hop video, that somehow involves old skool badges he made yesterday. And Teen Two is halfway through GCSEs, so he's about half as stressed as he was a week or so ago. Bless him.
Meanwhile, I got a bit stressed yesterday when I realised I had misplaced a tee shirt, the Cybernetic head one. After turning the entire house upside down I came to the baffling conclusion that I have somehow lost it and I was planning on wearing it all half term. So I had to go and buy another one. There are three left.
Apologies for the geography error last week, I went to see the bag maker in Sutton Coldfield, not Walsall, which is not in Staffs. And yes, I'm still confused. More on that exciting new record bag when it is made.
If you are in London next Thursday I'm playing records with Doug Shipton and Alan Gubby at this thing called Pour Decisions - at the Tate Modern corner bar in the evening. Free to get in and that. I shall be playing LPs with spelling mistakes on them. It will sound good for sure.
In the meantime here is a film I was sent yesterday with a geek in Fila explaining space age music, which is interesting and includes some of my fave LPs from the time. Like The Passions.
I'm now off to sing happy birthday at the reservoir then it's off to the holiday seaside with 6 million other people, and to sit in a traffic jam for a couple of hours.
But I'll be back to see the restored Crystal Voyager movie on Sunday...maybe see you there,
Thanks for listening as always
Jonny
