Morning, I hope all is well. All good here, I believe Teen Two finishes his GCSEs today. Yay. Meanwhile Teen One has just left for the Gottwood Festival to see acts called Dr Banana, Zip and tINI in the rain.
In other news I've been touring the UK this week buying old fold up chairs. It was decided that we need several good quality fold up chairs for The Mildmay Club (we run out of chairs every Friday because of Bingo), we did research, found out that Sandler Seating made the best ones, and I tracked down a total of 35 from the 1970s and bought them all from a shed in a village called Westonzoyland and a shipping container in Great Dunmow. What larks.
Thanks to my neighbour who explained all about the mystery plank on the roof just after my mailout last week.
There is a new Trunk tee in town, Liz Taylor, but more of her next week.
In the meantime here is an old film about moving to the town of the future - Thamesmead. Great little title sequence with John Baker music too.
I'm now off to sit down.
Thanks for listening as always
Jonny
