Morning, I hope you are well. All good here. Teen Two got back from Reading with no voice, no camp bed and a new outfit made completely of mud.
He actually got back from Reading festival at 6am Monday morning, having left the site at 2am. Apparently 3am is when "the purge" begins, where young folk start smashing up tents all across the site whether people are in them or not. I have booked my Reading ticket for 2027 already.
The good news is the all new Trunk LP is about to arrive. It has been so long I have actually forgotten what it is.
There are two videos today.
One of the strangest DJ sets I have seen. Superstar house DJ in Tokyo Tower on 55th anniversary of the Technics 1200 turntable. Sadly the superstar DJ cannot mix but there is a mass of knob twiddling that seems to do nothing. Check it at about 10 minutes in. The comments are off the scale ("it's like someone repairing a watch with boxing gloves on"). He does take is top off though.
I'm now off to the Spitalfields Record Fayre. As usual I am unbearably excited.
