Morning, I hope all is well. All groovy here. I have been mostly confused by the weather this week, wearing Autumn tops when only a Summer tee would be needed. And getting my dry clothes rained on whilst swimming when a flash downpour decided to arrive out of nowhere.

First of all I must really thank all those who bought the new Holiday Exotica book. They all sold out on the Friday, which was incredibly flattering. It's very hard to see how good or bad a new book is when you've been staring at the contents and making it for two years. So when it sells it's very exciting indeed. So thank you all.

Then on Sunday we had the GOD known as Walter Murch at The Mildmay, He did the sound and editing on The Conversation, sound design on Apocalypse Now, The Godfather etc. He arrived wearing a Lucasfilm corduroy bomber jacket from the American Graffiti shoot. He had some great stories and odd underground details about his career in film. We then watched The Conversation. I made some Murch Merch for the day, a black sweatshirt with the Polish Conversation poster image on the front. Sold all but three of them. But three would last about 20 seconds on the Trunk website so I can make a few more and therefore you can pre order one (you have just 24 hours), we will make it and post it to you next Friday, if not before. They look really super, transfer printed...they came out way better than we had hoped. Image below...sweatshirts can be found here.

Today's film was sent to me any one of the Patreon Posse, after there was a fine Linda Lewis LP given away on the show. It's a 1970s doc staring Linda Lewis, The Faces, Fairport, Bolan etc. Most interesting...although the sound does disappear for a couple of minutes.

I'm now off to the Spitalfields Record Fair to give out flyers for the Groovy Fayre and hopefully make some new record friends along the way.

Thanks for listening as always - and if you want to email me back be sure to use jonny@trunkrecords.com
