Hello, I hope all is groovy and getting a bit festive.
I was having a very jolly morn until I accidentally deleted this entire mailout and this is the second attempt. So, first of all we have a 50p Swinging Christmas with Ella, which is probably one of the most faultless Christmas albums of all time. It can be found on the Festive 50p page here.
Next up I have just taken delivery of several groovy things: first up is the I Was Lord Kitchener's Valet Poster. This is an exact copy of the flyposters used by this historically important shop when it opened in 1964. It was the first second hand clothes shop and statred selling military and kinky gear from the off. There is a short piece about it here with the infamous Hendrix / Jagger jackets and you can see the poster in the window. I also read a interesting "mod" article this week and as a result came across In Gear, a groovy 8 minute film by Rank Cinemas that also mentions the shop. The limited screen print can be found here.
I have also made the first ever screenprint of a Dirty Fan Male letter. "By A Thursday" is really the letter than started the whole Dirty Fan Male thing, and the stream of conciousness list of items makes for a very good screenprint. I have made 25 of these and they are here in Jonny Xmas Sack.
Also in the sack you will see two new Vision On tees. I made them as I had sold out of the others ages ago and there were demanding emails. So, the first is the large black Vision On logo on a fine grey tee, the second is a mindboggling double print of the logo in black and blue on a fine grey tee. Both can be found in the sack.
The new Trunk LP, Britxotica is now for sale properly too, and it's worth you having a digital dig about in the sack as LPs start at £4.99 (Palmer Rockey) and CDs start at £1.49. My idea is to try and clear out my entire stock so I can start 2016 with nothing. And remember, if you spend £20 or more, you get the Xmas Bread Sauce mix for free.
I now have to get moving on three Trunk LP covers for 2016 otherwise nothing new will come until after Record Store Day. And I will leave you with this great Christmas Carol TV commercial from K Mart. It is a simple but entertaining advert based on the fact that you can ship all your purchases from their store.
Thanks for listening
Jonny
Oh, nearly forgot, I have just made ten Original Peter bags with Ghost Box. They all have special Ghost Box embroidered fronts. There are only ten of them. They are in the OP shoppe.
