Hello, I hope all is groovy. It's pretty groovy here.

First of all, thanks to everyone who quickly bought all my Spider-Jazz splatter LPs. They sold out in about an hour, then I got some more and they sold out too. Many of the orders have been sent out already, but the others that are all sold are arriving either tomorrow or early next week and will be sent out immediately. So if yours has not arrived yet it will shortly. If you missed out there maybe some more coming if I am lucky (the remaining ones are supposed to be for shops), I will keep you informed. In the meantime there are a few standard black vinyl ones left.

DJ Food pointed out last night that Brother John Rydgren uses Syd Dale's "Walk and Talk" (from Spider-Jazz) in his classic "Move Out In Style" track.

As for the 50p Friday album - it's called Stone Blues. I mean how can you not want an album called Stone Blues? Especially when it's by someone you may never have heard of, called Ken McIntyre. Anyway, it's unusual for lots of reasons - saxy, stringy, moody and almost a bit experimental at times. Good unusual rare music. And here for 50p.

I mentioned last week I was going to see a woman with 17,000 LPs. Indeed I did and we had a very long conversation about music and stuff. She told me that one of her favourite library cues was Prima Ballerina - as heard on the intro to the BBC 2's "Watch".

Also, I have recently been working a bit for Spotify, on a series called Spotify Digs, where I go and speak to a music fan and get them to put together a playlist. Here is the Stewart Lee interview and his playlist is all superb Spaghetti Western cues. He is brilliant. More next week.

This Bank Holiday weekend I'm very lucky to be heading to Lisbon with my family (although I keep saying Lesbos). So, if anyone on this list has any good suggestions as to where I might be able to go and sit down and drink and hang out and play Uno with my kids and stuff like that, please tell me. Like groovy bars etc. Any suggestions welcome.

Thanks for listening.
