Hello, hope all is groovy. Pretty groovy here now that I've finished this year's World Book Day outfit. I had to make a Minecraft creeper (so, sod all to do with books then) out of record stiffeners. Only took me three evenings and three tubes of acrylic paint.

Anyway, it's Friday, now which means it's 50p Friday here and I have a small but quite super Soundtrack EP on the go. It's The Naked Island, AKA L'Ile Neu and nope, nothing rauchy going on here at all. The opposite in fact, hard toil as a small family struggles to stay alive all alone on a tiny island. Pretty harsh stuff. Pretty good music though. It can be found here

In other news, I posted up a photo of a 1970s Corona lorry yesterday on Instagram and loads of people commented that they'd missed or were not aware of the Corona Fizzical advertising tees I did at the end of last year. I have about 5 left. They are here, available with an orange bubble or a green one.

Also this week I had a chat with someone about the legendary Reginald Bosanquet 7" single. If you've not heard it, it's brilliantly terrible. Here is Reggie (possibly half cut (as usual, rumour had it)) in an orange juice advert. And the record AND Reggie can be heard on this classic Kenny Everett "Bottom 30" broadcast, when he runs through some of the worst records ever made.

Talking of worst records ever made, I'm now off to the Spitalfields Record Fayre, where I shall buy some more terrible records. In fact I went to the last one a few weeks ago and the terrible records I bought then which I don't need are still where I left them when I got back, untouched, unplayed and quite unloved. Good news is there is still some room for more on top of them.

Thanks for listening

Jonny
