Hello, I hope you are well. We're all OK here, although virtual term time has started this week and I am now in an hour by hour battle with my kids to convince them that term time has actually begun, even though they are still at home. This challenge begins at 9am when my teen refuses to move from his fuggy bed and tells me to "chill" as everyone else he knows is in their fuggy bed too.

In other news my beard has progressed and I now look like the animated Yeti from Monsters Inc.

So, today I am actually releasing a real physical LP. I thought about this long and hard, but In the BC (Before Corona) days this was to be released this week all over the world, and so in Lockdown I am releasing it this week just to my mailing list as I have all the LPs (I only made 250) and the warehouse where they are stored has one person working there in isolation and items are being sent out. So, if you buy one, it will be sent, but maybe not until next week. The album is called The Sound Of Malcolm, by Malcolm Goldie who is an old chum of mine. I commissioned to make an LP because he makes anarchic sonic cut-ups for adverts for things like Adidias football boots or radical cosmetics, and I think he has a mad knack of creating incredible sound out of all sorts of interesting noises. It's unique, and bits of it sound like The Minions have been let loose in a studio. There are only 250 copies, all on pink vinyl which is only available through me, in ye olde Trunk shoppe. It's perfect for these mad days we are living through. I have also made it a special Low Lockdown price. So, The Sound Of Malcolm FOR JUST £14.99 ON PINK VINYL IS HERE.

And you can buy the download for JUST 50p TODAY too here. All revenue to the NHS. Bless them all.

For a film link today we have a bad print, but possibly the only print anywhere in the world of You Are What You Eat. A fave OST of mine from the early 1990s, lovely to finally see the raving mad late 1960s counter culture film that the music (love the "My Name's Jack" number) and strange speeches all came from. Thanks to Martin Green for tipping me off that this copy was on line.

I'm now off to try and wake up the teen. This morning I am constructing a reggae soundsystem in his bedroom, and we will introducing and playing some fine Jamaican Ska in there from about 9:15am onwards. All welcome.

Thanks for listening as always. And stay well.

Jonny
