Hi there, I hope you are well. All OK here, still working for Bill Gates, having some issues with my old HP printer, have somehow strained the set of muscles all around my right hand side and this is making me very grumpy because it hurts when I do normal things. Like typing mailouts.
In other news it was my birthday this week. I had a fine time, got a lovely picture, went for a picnic with my lovely wife, went to annoy Grayson Perry with the gift of a Vision On Sweatshirt (his birthday is the same day as mine, as is William Morris, Kurosawa and The Melody Nelson LP). And Steve "interesting" Davis (AKA The Ginger Ninja / 6 times world snooker champ and now psychedelic musician) said "Happy Birthday" to me on Instagram! It gets no better!
There is no 50p Friday today because I had too much to drink. And my side hurts.
Also, as a result of the strange small film last week (about Aliens visiting Northampton - thanks Travis) I had several exciting emails about other songs about bits of the UK.
So, here is a song by Frankie Vaughan. I won't tell you where he is singing about, and it's unlikely you would ever guess. So watch and find out and laugh a bit.
And this is total magic. About a new shopping centre. Possibly the best 45 seconds you will hear / see all day.
In fact I'm now off to Telford - I'm driving there illegally. To see if I can get a job Djing at that funny club when we are all finally let out.
Thanks for listening as always
J
