New Old A2 Cornflake Print
So, the 1970 Sainsbury's Own Label Cornflake packet. A true graphic design classic from Sainsbury's Design Studio, under the direction of Peter Dixon. The Own Label designs are hugely influential in terms of basic graphic economy and this one design probably sums up their groundbreaking (and award winning) packaging aesthetic more than anything.
I made an original run of 25 A3 prints of this last year and they all sold out in one hour. I have had 5 larger A2 prints in storage that I made at the same time but did not put up for sale, and these are what are for sale now. Just 5 of them. Profits for the print will be going to the archive. Print is A2 on hand cut Hahnemuhle Photorag 308gsm archival art paper. Absolutely superb quality. Signed, dated and embossed with the Trunk logo.
Yes, these look incredible, the quality of print is sublime.
