New Old Football Tee Shirt
Description
New Old Football Tee Shirt
I found this image in a 1943 Sheffield printers specimen book. You could buy this image as a metal printing block from them back then to use for printing purposes (obviously). So I have used it 75 years later for that very purpose again. The image features a big 40s style leather lace-up Association football, and I left the printers spec ("solid with white lines" and "Other Sizes Supplied With Equal Facility") around the outside which gives it a bit of context. These tees are printed on the Continental brand of tee shirts, which i think are excellent. I do like this tee lots - probably more than I like football, and am currently wearing it around the house, much to the annoyance of Bertie, who is 7 and wants one but I didn't make one for kids. Not yet anyway.
