Ivor Cutler was introduced to me by my first girlfriend. We listened to Jammy Smears. Ivor was a unique talent, a man who could induce tears of joy and sadness often at the same time, by simply sating the obvious but in his own way. A big John Peel icon, and this is his rarely talked about debut LP. Ivor is now dead. He left us this and lots of other stuff, and it's good to hear what amazing things he did.
