“Fight” by The Musketeers somehow remains a little under the radar. Anyone growing up in the 1960s or 1970s who had a TV cannot fail to remember the classic theme to a bizarre French musketeer-based TV series, called "The Flashing Blade". Badly dubbed and full of horses and sword fights it’s mostly remembered for the classic opening theme, which was only written for the UK screened episodes. This music was actually issued as a 7” (on the Phillips label) but is a right bastard to find. I’ve only seen three copies in 20 odd years. But, just for this weekend I’ve managed to license the recording (from the song writer’s son) for a download and all profits go to Resonance FM. Come on then…fight!
