So, Lust for LIfe. One of my fave films from that great cinematic post war period. Great biopic about Van Gogh and Gaugin, played brilliantly well by KIrk Douglas and Anthony Hopkins. Great music too, by one of the European maestros - Miklos Rosa. A fabulous, moving score, with some fine postoral moments, some moments of madness and a whole side of dramatic violence that is nothing to do with the original film at all.
